UNH-IOL Demonstrates High-Speed Links and Security Running on the 'Moonv6'

The "Moonv6" network stretching from Durham to California has demonstrated the ability of the next version of the Internet to work with high-speed links, firewalls, routing, common applications and quality of service (QoS) for real-time business applications such as multimedia, the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) has announced.

The second phase of Moonv6, a collaboration between industry leaders, the North American IPv6 Task Force (NAv6TF), the UNH-IOL, Internet2 and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), ran March 7-19.
