Global IPv6 Summit 2004 in China

Next Global IPv6 Summit will be held in Beijing, China, April 12-14, 2004. As of the end of 2003, the number of Internet users in China rose by 34.5 percent over the last one year to 79.5 million only second to US in the world.

With the support from China government, the major Carries in China are starting to build a large multiple high level network platforms connected by IPv6, known as China Next Generation Internet (CNGI).
