6DEPLOY IPv6 workshop in Athens

Dates: 21-23 June 2010 - Location: Athens, Greece

This IPv6 Workshop took place in Athens, Greece, on June 21st to 23rd 2010. In the workshop participated more than 80 persons in the theoretical and the labs sessions. For the lab sessions, the 6DEPLOY testbeds in Sofia and Ljubljana were used for the routing part and IPv6 enabled virtual machines from GRNET were used for the services part. In the routing part, BGP and OSPFv3 were enabled in the remote labs, while in the services part, DNS, firewall, Apache and Bind were enabled in IPv6 in the provided virtual machines.

Individuals present at the workshop included Athanassios Liakopoulos and Anastasios Zafeiropoulos, from GRNET representing 6DEPLOY.

6DEPLOY project was introduced using the available brief description. The program of the workshop and the corresponding presentations was:

Wednesday June 23rd (12:00 - 17:00)

On Wednesday June 23rd, it was held the 2nd Hellenic IPv6 Task Force meeting, organized by GRNET.
