IPv6 Workshop - Geneva

Dates: 5-8 October 2010 - Location: Geneva, Switzerland

The University of Geneva, 6Deploy and Mandat International organized a training course on IPv6 in Geneva, Switzerland, from October 5th to 8th 2010, with the support of Cisco and other partners. This training was organized in Geneva in two parts:

  • 2 days of theoretical introduction on IPv6, at the Geneva University.
  • 2 days of complementary (and optional) practical training on the configuration of an IPv6 network.

Those trainings are provided to support two IPv6 related projects:

The practical training sessions will be oriented towards setting up an IPv6 network, including the integration of sensors. i.e.: Addressing, Routing, DNS, DHCP, general client-, server- and router- configuration, and sensor networking aspects.
